Just like last week, I seem to be behind again, and so it's once again time for a catch-up linkorama.
- uwbadgers.com has a "Get to Know" feature on Jessie Vetter.
- In his Badger Men's Hockey Insider email, Paul Capobianco provides the following alumni updates. Thanks, Paul!
Former Badger and current Detroit Red Wings defenseman Brian Rafalski is featured in a video on NHL.com. I highly recommend it, if that means anything to you.
You’ve surely heard some of this before, but NHL.com also has a story on goalie masks, featuring Brian Elliott. Elliott has been continuing his stellar play for the Ottawa Senators. Here’s a nice video profile of the former All-American.
NHL.com has been kind to former Badgers of late, as here’s a feature on Edmonton’s Tom Gilbert. He gives high marks to how the University of Wisconsin helped him.
If CNNSI.com has its say, Wisconsin will be well represented on Team USA and Team Canada at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
- David Staples has a quite complimentary article on Tom Gilbert. (Thanks to bucky15 for finding it.)
- Andy Baggot takes a look at Curtis Joseph as a Hall of Fame candidate. In his post, Baggot references this THN article.
- I know we previously posted Baggot's brief blog post about Ben Street, but I'm not sure if we posted Saturday's longer article. Most of you have probably already seen it anyway, but I thought I'd link it just in case.
- Mike Eaves talked to the media yesterday in his weekly press conference. It sounds like Brendan Smith will likely be back this weekend. As far as the defensive pairs go, Craig Johnson was practicing this week with Jake Gardiner.
- uwbadgers.com takes a look at the Badgers' positions in the WCHA and PairWise standings.
- Todd Milewski takes a look at the race for league titles in the ECAC, HE, AH, and CHA.
- Andy Baggot takes a look at some random stats, the upcoming series v. Denver, and junior winger John Mitchell.
- uwbadgers.com reminds us to listen to the Wisconsin Hockey Show on WIBA tonight at 7PM. Guests tonight will include Mike Eaves (of course), Ben Street, and possibly another Badger player.
- The Daily Cardinal and the Badger Herald look forward to this weekend's series v. Denver.
