gophers 4 - Badgers 2

Well, the Badger Women were outplayed for much of the game and couldn't pull off the comeback. There were portions of the game that they looked pretty good and generated some nice chances, a a number of which I couldn't believe they didn't score on. But minnesota dominated the play for too much of the game, and minnesota's goaltender (freshman Alyssa Grogan) played pretty well, too.

Erica Lawler left the game with a shoulder injury, tried to return, but couldn't go. So we'll have to see how serious the injury is, hopefully she won't be gone long.
