Four Days Of Hockey For The Hardcore Fans

For starters the Chicago Blackhawks are playing the Detroit Redwings in the Winter Classic in Wrigley Field home of the Chicago Cubs New Years Day. Three Badger Alumni players could be participating in the Game. Brian Rafalski (91-95) is sure to play for the Redwings. Chris Chelios (81-83) has just returned after breaking his leg and is a good possibility to play for the Wings. That leaves Adam Burish (02-06) who is also returning from injury and is yet to be annonced for the lineup. Adam is no stranger to the outdoor game which should help Adam get into the lineup. The Badgers defeated Ohio State at the Frozen Tundra Game in Lambeau Field in 2006 with Adam as the team captain.

The next game on tap is the Badger Women vs. The US Selects team featuring Badger alumni, Jinelle Zaugg, Kerry Weiland, Molly Engstrom and Chanda Gunn. Game time is 2:pm Friday Jan. 2nd at the Kohl Center and parking and admission is Free!!

Game three is the Badger men facing CCHA foe Northern Michigan at the Kohl Center face off is at 7:o7 pm.

Game four of the extended weekend will be The US selects Womens team vs. The Madison Capitols AAA midget boys team at the Capitol Ice Arena in Middleton. Game time is Saturday 2:20 pm Parking is free and admission price is ?.

Game five is the Badger Mens game #2 and going for the sweep vs. Northern Michigan. Game time for Saturday has been changed to 8:07 pm due to a daytime basketball game.

Day four, Sunday Jan. 4th is Skate With The Badgers Mens edition. The hours of the Skate With The Badgers are 2-3:30 pm, parking and admission is free.
