Strang commits to the Badgers

Cody Strang a forward at Madison Edgewood going into his senior season, committed monday to joined the Cardinal and White for either the 2010 or 2011 season. Looks like he'll have a season or two in the USHL following this season to prepare to step in and contribute right away.

Like I posted earlier, he was one of the better players for Team Wisconsin during the HS Hockey Elite League this weekend in Verona.

He also had scholarship offers to play golf from UW, Eastern Michigan and a few others.

Congrats Cody and keep working hard! He should be a large part of Edgewood's effort to return to the State Tournament.
