06/07 Stats: 17 games, 1-1-2, +1, 8 PIM

08/09 Role: 4th EV line

07/08 Recap: Andy (or the Bohmber) didn't see much ice time in the 1st half of the season. That changed in the 2nd half of the season when Josh Engel moved back to defenseman, Andy made the majority of the starts in the last forward spot. Andy's strength is his size, he isn't afraid to hit people and I think that is a large part of the reason Eaves went w/ him late in the season. During tough, physical play Andy is the right guy for the job. His late play on the 4th line turned him into one of my favorite players.

08/09 Thoughts: Competition for playing time is going to be tough at forward this season. Andy has a couple things going his way. As I already mentioned, his size and toughness are definately an assest against WCHA foes. Also, he shoots left. By my count there are only 5 other left handed forwards on the team (Geoffrion, Johnson, Street, Mitchell and Murray). While Andy is behind all of those guy on the depth chart, if a left handed shoot is needed, he could easily get the call over a teammate in street clothes. I think Andy will see action in about half the games, he is a nice option to have in reserve.

Prediction: 15 games, 1-2-3
