Adam Burish on ESPN 1070

I was fortunate to be driving in my vehicle today and caught an interview w/ Adam Burish on the ESPN 1070 "On Wisconsin" program hosted by Brian Posick.

I don't have any links or anything cool like that, but I have a good summary of what he said. He wasn't expecting his role w/ the Blackhawks to be as the enforcer, but in camp he found a niche and went w/ it. He said there is nothing better than trying to "knock someone's face off" during a fight.

Despite all the NHL and recent US experience, the 2006 National Title is on the top of his list of accomplishments and he doesn't expect that to ever change. He also stated that he wished he could have had 4 more years of eligiblity, because he enjoyed his time at Wisconsin that much.

Sounds like he has a very strong relationship w/ Eaves too, said he talks to him weekly about various things.

He's hoping that Jack Skille and Jake Dowell can crack the 'Hawks roster this year and join him in the NHL.

Speaking of Skille, Burish mentioned how much he enjoyed beating down former rodent Keith Ballard after a cheap shot on Skille in a game last season. In case you haven't seen it, here it is.

Great to see Adam having success in the NHL!
