08/09 Role: 3rd EV Pairing

07/08 Recap: Craig was a late addition walk-on to the 2007 freshman class, to fill out the blue line core. Craig didn't see any action until the Badgers were shorthanded during the WJC. Due to an injury to Brendan Smith, Craig continued to see action after Jamie McBain's return from the WJC. Craig scored his lone goal and point against Michigan Tech. Overall, Craig ended up playing a lot more than anyone thought he would. He didn't play any special teams and rarely saw the ice in the 3rd period. While he wasn't flashy, he did an adequete job in his own end.

08/09 Thoughts: W/ all the top draft picks on the blue line, and the addition of two USHL All-Stars, Craig's time will likely be limited again this season. I would think this is to be expected, and while Craig won't play a large role in the 08/09 Badgers, he should see more ice time in his upperclassman seasons, especially w/ many early departures likely. Another year of learning under the wing of Coach Osiecki should go a long way for Craig's development. Craig turns 22 years old during the season.

Prediction: 10 games, 0-1-1
