The rocky road of Nick Pryor has reared its ugly head once again. I've been informed that Nick as not admitted to the University of Maine where he was scheduled to be on campus next fall.
If you remember correctly, this is the second time that Nick has not been admitted to school. A quick history lesson for those who don't remember: Nick first committed to the Wisconsin Badgers as a 15 year old freshman at Hill Murray, HS. He was to play two seasons at the NTDP in Ann Arbor, a season in the USHL with Des Moines, and join the Badgers as a true freshman in 2009.
All was well and good, he was even drafted over the summer by the Ducks, until he sat down with Wisconsin entrance examiners last fall and realized that there was no way he was going to be allowed in to the University of Wisconsin. I broke the story on September 23rd that due to his low ACT score, he wasn't getting into school. Nick considered his options, and he settled on the University of Maine.
Now according to sources, he can't get in to school at Maine either. I'm not sure where Pryor goes from here. He's still relatively young so your first thought is always the CHL. His father Chris, is the director of hockey operations for the Philadelphia Flyers.
