2009 Wisconsin defensive recruit John Ramage has agreed to do a little correspondence piece with us while he is in Fargo, ND for the IIHF U18 World Championships. John will be updating us as they go through the tournament when he gets some free time. Right now the Americans are 4-1 in the tournament. Late last night John was kind enough to check in after the American squad played in a quarter final game against the Czech Republic. Thanks again John!

We won our quarterfinal game against the Czech Republic tonight. The guys really came out and battled hard. We scored pretty early in the game and kept up the pressure all game. We ended up winning 6-2. Tomorrow we play the Canadians in the semi finals. This should be a huge test for our team but we are definitely ready for the challenge.-John Ramage
