Yesterday, Dallas Ferguson addressed a public forum regarding the UAF head coaching position. Today, Kevin Patrick did the same. Today's Newsminer had an article about Ferguson in which he explains why he thinks he's the right man for the job, and I'm hoping that tomorrow's Newsminer will have a similar-type article about KP. I would also expect the Madison newspapers to have follow-ups to KP's campus visit shortly.
Chris from Western College Hockey feels that the Nanuckleheads are going to go with Ferguson. But reading the comments to that post, some readers disagree.
After choosing an "outsider" in DelCastillo last year, and with that turning out badly, will UAF decide to go with an alumnus (Ferguson) this time around?
Or after choosing a coach who did not get along with players, will UAF decide this time to choose a coach (Patrick) who by all accounts is well-liked by players?
I suppose we'll know soon enough . . . stay tuned . . .
