A few odds & ends

• The WCHA has a brief official announcement about the Sept. 25 match-up between the WCHA Women's All-Star Team and the US Women's National Team.
  

• DPlaya has this weekend's TW Major schedule, as well as some roster information:

  Team Wisconsin Major is slated to take to the ice this weekend for the first time. They will be playing at Ice Hawk Arena in Stevens Point, and here's the schedule:

  As for the team currently carrying three goaltenders it sounds like Tony Kujava from Notre Dame Academy is safely on the roster while Austin Schmid of Verona and David Chapin from Waukesha Catholic Memorial will continue to battle for the final spot before the Elite League begins.
  
  I have also heard that another forward is going to be added to the roster, and several players will be "auditioning" with the team during their games prior to the start of the Elite League.

• USA Hockey has officially released the 2009-10 NTDP U18 roster. As you probably already know, the roster includes future Badger forward Michael Mersch and future Badger defenseman Frankie Simonelli.
