08/09 Recap: Malee spent the season on the top pairing w/ Alycia Matthews and they were solid on the blue line every night. She was named to the Frozen Four All Tourney team and had a goal in the 5-1 win over Mercyhurst to bring home NC #3.
09/10 Thoughts: Along w/ Olivia Jakiel, Malee is the only other upperclassmen defender this season, though Geena Prough has transferred and plays either position. Malee will need to be a leader on the blue line regardless and should have a big role on special teams. I wonder if the blue liners will provide more offense this season w/ less forward firepower?
Now I remember why I was a fan of her going into last season, she is an engineering major, I remember those days.
