08/09 Recap: Anne led the Badger blue liners in goal scoring last year, where she spent the season part of the 3rd pairing. Sorry I don’t have much more to say; w/ the differences between the Men’s and Women’s game on the blue line I don’t notice the Women blue liners as much. Something to pay more attention to this season.
09/10 Thoughts: As an upperclassman, Anne’s role on the team should expand this season. She is part of a solid group of junior blue liners, including Malee Windmeier and Olivia Jakiel, who will need to provide leadership on the ice w/ no senior defenders. To start the season, the Badgers will only have six defenders, so playing time for all of them will be plentiful and important as they break in some freshman to the WCHA.
