The Los Angeles Kings solidified their goaltending and defense Friday, signing goalie Jonathan Quick and defenseman Davis Drewiske to three-year contract extensions.
Drewiske, 24, is in his second NHL season and has played in all 10 Kings' games to date, scoring 1 goal and 2 assists and a team leading plus-6.
Drewiske made his NHL debut with the Kings last season and appeared in 17 games, picking up 3 assists and 18 penalty minutes. He also played in 61 games with the AHL's Manchester Monarchs last season, scoring 1 goal and 13 assists.
