Finally, another season of College Hockey is upon us and w/ it the return of my weekly review of the WCHA. The Badgers aren't in action this weekend, and they weren't last weekend when all 9 other WCHA teams faced off in exhibitions, and won all of them. Everyone else begins w/ non-conference action except the gophers. Here is the schedule:
Vermont @ Denver
St. Cloud @ Miami (OH)
Northeastern @ CC
Mercyhurst & Michigan @ UAA (Kendall Hockey Classic)
Lake Superior St & N. Michigan vs Michigan Tech & Duluth (Superior Showcase)
Bowling Green @ Mankato
Merrimack @ North Dakota
Expansion corner (let's keep an eye on next season's expansion teams)
Air Force @ Bemidji State
Army & UMASS Lowell/St Lawerence vs Nebraska-Omaha (IceBreaker in Omaha)
No predictions on games this week, but here is a review of my predicted 09/10 WCHA Standings:
