Tuesday cuts, games @ US U20 eval camp

Today is Tuesday, and presumably a number of players were cut to narrow the field from the 3 teams that scrimmaged earlier in the camp to the 2 teams that faced Finland and Sweden today. Unfortunately, USA Hockey has not updated their website to tell us which players have been sent home. They also have not updated the website to include game recaps or box scores from this evening's games.

The NHL.com coverage available on usahockey.com does have a pregame lineup for Team White, and Ryan McDonagh is listed. It also has some game updates (McD is not mentioned) and reports that Team White lost 3-2 in overtime to Sweden.

The NHL.com coverage also includes a very brief summary of Team Blue's 4-1 win over Finland. No lineup was given, and Jake Gardiner is not mentioned in the summary. (He wasn't on Team White, so I'd like to believe he's on Team Blue. Guess we'll have to wait to see.)

Team Blue will take on Sweden and Team White will take on Finland on Wed Aug 6 and Sat Aug 9. Team Blue will rematch with Finland and Team White will rematch with Sweden on Fri Aug 8.
