The festival will serve as the selection camp for the 2009-2010 National Team that will compete in the Qwest Tour. The 23-player roster will be named on Aug 24. The roster will further be pared down to the 21-player Olympic roster in mid-December.
First up for the National Team is the National Women's Invitational Tournament (Aug 26 - Sept 6, Vancouver), a test event for the 2010 Olympics. The Qwest Tour runs from Sept 25 through Feb 4. Additionally, the team will compete in the Four Nations Cup (Nov 2 - 8, Finland).
