Badger Women to host Team USA before Olympics

In preparation for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, Team USA Women’s hockey team will embark on a 10 game tour starting in September 2009. Games include matchups w/ WCHA, HE and ECAC All-Stars, three games against archrival Team Canada and one against Team Finland.

Three WCHA schools will host Team USA including the Badger Women, minnesota and North Dakota. The exact date for the game at the Kohl Center has not been set, but it will be in January 2010.

This should be a great event and I would expect (or at least hope) the Kohl Center to be filled w/ Team USA in town only a month or so prior to the beginning of the Olympic Games.
