Apparently, the Waterloo Blackhawks of the USHL have had to make some hard decisions this summer regarding their roster for the upcoming season. The Hawks should feature three future Badger forwards this season in Brock Montpetit, Craig Smith and Tyler Barnes. Not much in the article about the kids, other than Barnes had 2 assists in the all-star game. One of the coaches for Waterloo's camp was past Blackhawk and Badger Joe Pavelski.
This video features several of Waterloo's players including Brock Montpetit, who talks about working hard to improve his game.
Looking forward to see these kids in action this winter.
