As you could have probably guessed in addition to spending a ton of time preparing the team for RIT, there are also a ton of media obligations for the players and coaching staff of the Wisconsin Badgers.
Coach Eaves has been a busy man over the past couple of weeks and I've found a couple of radio interviews that he has done. The first one that I'm going to link for you is from The Pipeline Show. If you aren't familiar with the pipeline show, it's based out of Edmonton, Alberta and as you can expect they focus a lot on the Major Junior game. But I'll give them credit, they give the college game a fair shake and spend a lot more time than you would expect defending the college route.
The Pipeline Show is live on Tuesdays from 7-9 local time and is hosted by Dean Millard and Guy Flaming. You can find their interview with coach Eaves here. It starts at about the 3:00 mark of the video. They also have a blog that you can check out here.
Coach Eaves was also on a local radio show out of Eau Claire this past week on Tuesday, March 30th, shortly after qualifying for the 2010 Frozen Four.
The station is out of Eau Claire and as you could have probably guessed by the graphic it is Sports Radio 1400 WBIZ and the show that Coach Eaves was featured on is called the "Water Cooler." It's a 1 hour daily radio show Monday through Friday that talks local sports. I've checked out some of their on demand interviews and it's some pretty cool stuff.
You can check out the almost 7 minute interview with coach Eaves here.
They also have linked up an interview with Badger Radio voice Brian Posick which you can find here.
