Recruit Jordan Schmaltz Moves To The USHL

Jordan Schmaltz, a defenseman from Verona, WI who is committed to attend Wisconsin in the fall of 2012 has taken the next step in his development. Thanks to a tip from the USCHO poster Milzie, we've learned that Schmaltz has been added to the roster of the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL.

According to the online box score, Schmaltz dressed last night for the Musketeers wearing #15 in a home loss, 4-2 to Indiana. Schmaltz did not record any statistics in last nights contest.

Wisconsin forward recruit Matt Paape and defense recruit Chase Drake also play for the Musketeers. Eau Claire native Luke Strand is the head coach and General Manager.

Sioux City will be back in action Saturday night when they host future Badger Tyler Lapic and the Omaha Lancers.
