Well, I guess we can't reset the OT futility clock yet, but this is one situation I think in which I'll settle for the tie. UND's PP just looked too good, and so we might consider ourselves fortunate not to have lost this one during the overtime PK. (Although, dang, it would've been nice to not let them tie it up in the first place, I'll bet Gandalf is all fired-up.) I was a little bit in love with Scott Gudmandson last night (hey, it was FRIDAY, what do you expect?) -- he came up big a number of times in the 3rd/OT.
Your Badger goals were scored by Craig Smith (Geoffrion, Ramage), Blake Geoffrion (C Smith, Goloubef), and Andy Bohmbach (McDonagh, Thurber.) Brad Eidsness was pulled after the 3rd Badger goal, and the Sioux played much better in front of Aaron Dell.
As usual, Mike Eaves mixed up the Badger lines a bit during the 3rd period. I saw Bohmbach on a line with Aaron Bendickson and Ben Grotting -- not sure what the other lines were at that point. I gotta take another look.
