Stepan, Team USA Take Out Fins

Last night, Team USA handily defeated Team Finland 6-2 at the World Junior Championships in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The United States got up 3-0 and never looked back.

Wisconsin sophomore Derek Stepan continued his hot streak registering two assists in the win. The Hastings, Minnesota native is now leading the tournament in scoring by himself with 11 points in 5 games.

With the win, Team USA moves on to the semi-finals tonight against Sweden. The game is at 8 PM and can be found on the NHL Network. Switzerland won the other quarterfinal in an upset over Russia and plays Team Canada in the other semi-final.
