Illegal Curve which is a GREAT NHL hockey blog has a Q and A up with 2010 Badger goaltender recruit Alex Rigsby. Rigsby, if you remember, was the first woman ever selected in the USHL draft.

Andy Baggot has an interesting blog post up today. He informs us that Wisconsin hasn't returned it's leading scorer back the next season in over 4 years. What's even more interesting is how he still hasn't reported on Tom Bardis being released from the team.

2010 defensive recruit Chase Drake dropped the gloves in the Sioux City tryout. For those of you wondering why he wasn't at the All Star game, it's because the Sioux City coaches let defensemen already committed to colleges sit out so they could get a better look at younger defensemen.

Only 18,000 tickets have been sold for next years outdoor game at Camp Randall between Wisconsin and Michigan.

If your looking to catch some excellent summer hockey, get yourself up to Stevens Point June 19-21st. Team Wisconsin will be holding it's High Performance camp with the best 68 players in the state in attendance. TW Major and Minor rosters will be filled from this camp.

Don't forget to cheer on former Badgers Chris Chelios and Brian Rafalski from the Red Wings as they battle the Penguins in game 7 Friday night at 7 pm central time.

The Minnesota Wild Road Tour will be in Eau Claire on June 22nd from 11:30 to 12:30. Wild players James Sheppard and Josh Harding will be in attendance.

According to the USHL hockey blog, Huntington, WV is looking to possibly join the USHL. Not sure the location would close enough to garner enough interest.
